University College
Marshall University’s University College is the official home of many different student populations including those who are undecided, conditionally admitted, test-optional and pre-nursing as well as dual enrollment high school students, special admits and transient students. In the 2024-25 academic year, University College is adding its first degree-granting program, the Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree in Integrated Studies.
Undecided, conditionally admitted, pre-nursing and students in the BAS degree program are assigned a University College academic advisor dedicated to assisting them in achieving their academic goals. Advising is provided in a supportive atmosphere where undecided, conditional, and pre-nursing students can obtain information about various academic programs and career opportunities. BAS students will receive the support and guidance they need as they explore and identify the professional development pathways and experiential placement opportunities needed to complete their degree requirements.
