Welcome

Marshall University is officially a certifying organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award. Students are eligible for awards based on their amount of registered community service hours completed. Volunteers are eligible for bronze, silver, gold, and Lifetime Achievement awards. For more information about the President’s Volunteer Service Award, please visit presidentialserviceawards.gov or contact Dr. Gabe Brown, Director of Community Service & Family Programs.

Huntington Children’s Museum is teaming up with Marshall University’s Office of Intercultural and Student Affairs to host our second annual SandFest! Marshall University organizations and student groups will compete in a tabletop sand sculpture competition to see who will win THE GOLDEN SHOVEL. In addition to the competition and beach atmosphere, families can expect a sand pit, sandcastle making stations, STEAM activities and MORE! It’s going to be a ton of fun for all ages! Join us for SandFest Sunday, September 15 from 2-6pm at the Memorial Fountain. Contact Dr. Gabe Brown, Director of Community Service & Family Programs for information on volunteering.
