We award the Matthew A. Reese Scholarship to a student who demonstrates a sustained history of activism for social justice.
Submit a biographical essay (800-1000 words) that demonstrates your sustained political involvement in their community on behalf of progressive causes, organizations, and/or candidates concerned with issues of peace, justice, or social welfare. Applicants must be a West Virginia native who has graduated from a West Virginia public high school with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference given to students whose major student is in the College of Liberal Arts.
