Earn a Marshall University Professional Pilot, B.S. degree from Martinsburg, W.V.

Marshall University’s Bill Noe Flight School (BNFS) is on a mission to help meet the nation’s projected need for commercial pilots over the next 20 years through their Professional Pilot, B.S., degree program. The program’s ground and flight courses lead to a series of FAA certifications and prepare graduates to become commercial pilots of single and multi-engine aircraft.

Starting in the fall of 2024, Marshall University’s Bill Noe Flight School will offer the Professional Pilot B.S. program in Martinsburg, West Virginia through a hybrid program allowing students to take Marshall University courses online and complete flight training through Marshall’s BNFS at Eastern West Virginia Regional Airport (MRB). Ultimately allowing students to earn a Marshall University degree and FAA certification upon completion of the program.

In addition to the bachelor’s degree program, Marshall University Aviation also offers direct pilot training for those who are not interested in earning a degree.

Professional Pilot, B.S.

Marshall University Aviation’s professional pilot degree program in Martinsburg allows students to take required Marshall University courses online and complete flight training at MRB, earning a Professional Pilot, B.S. degree from Martinsburg.

Flight Training

Aviation enthusiasts from West Virginia, Maryland and Virginia can obtain the highest quality flight training at Marshall’s new Martinsburg facilities. Marshall University flies its aircraft and instructors to Martinsburg to provide flight training to members of the local community.
