Marshall University’s Bill Noe Flight School (BNFS) is on a mission to help meet the nation’s projected need for commercial pilots over the next 20 years through their Professional Pilot, B.S., degree program. The program’s ground and flight courses lead to a series of FAA certifications and prepare graduates to become commercial pilots of single and multi-engine aircraft.
Starting in the fall of 2025, Marshall University’s Bill Noe Flight School will offer the Professional Pilot B.S. program in Lewisburg, West Virginia through a hybrid program allowing students to take Marshall University courses online and complete flight training through Marshall’s BNFS at the Greenbrier Valley Airport (LWB). Ultimately allowing students to earn a Marshall University degree and FAA certification upon completion of the program.
In addition to the bachelor’s degree program, Marshall University Aviation also offers direct pilot training for those who are not interested in earning a degree.
