Many bright minds in the state, and beyond, call themselves Yeager Scholar alumni. We’re honored to play a role in helping shape the education of top scholars, current and past, and look forward to working with the leaders of tomorrow.
The curriculum required for Yeager Scholars is rigorous and demanding, including interdisciplinary seminars, multiple honors courses and a proficiency in a foreign language. Scholars are expected to maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA while being the leaders of campus organizations.

The mission of the Society of Yeager Scholars is to seek out and attract to Marshall University a diverse group of students with outstanding intellectual and leadership potential as demonstrated by their breadth of interests, creativity, personal drive, civic involvement and commitment to excellence; provide an academic environment that will develop that potential; and support the Yeager Scholars after graduation with career counseling to assist in the achievement of their ultimate goals.
