This Institute for Black History Instruction is a graduate humanities course that provides a stipend and tuition-free credits to teachers who successfully complete the course. The 2021 institute is The Lyceum’s fourth such program in support of teacher education, following previous institutes in 2017, 2019 and 2020 – all conducted with major grants from the West Virginia Humanities Council.
