Title IX
The faculty and staff of Marshall University Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program supports students and student protests demanding reform and change in Title IX. We recognize Marshall’s past failings in living up to the spirit and letter of Title IX, and we support changes to university policies that will ensure our compliance with Title IX standards. Student safety is our primary concern, and we vow to work with various university entities to change our policies and practices so students feel safe and are safe on our campuses.
