About the Award:

The Women of Marshall Awards recognize individuals who:
Champion equity and inclusion through their leadership, activism, and commitment to eliminating barriers
Advocate for comprehensive representation, fostering an environment where all voices are valued and supported.
Serve as role models of resilience, empathy, and collaboration.
Inspire others through innovative contributions that enhance understanding and visibility of social issues affecting women and underrepresented communities.

We encourage nominations of individuals from all walks of life and diverse backgrounds, including but not limited to LGBTQ+ individuals, African American, Hispanic, Indigenous, Asian, and people of all abilities. These awards honor those who have dedicated themselves to creating spaces where everyone, regardless of identity, can thrive.

Award Description Eligibility
Unity in Action Recognizes an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and advocacy. Faculty, Staff, or Alumni with long-term (10+ years) contributions.
Impact Award  

Honors an individual who has led significant initiatives, activism, or policy efforts that have improved opportunities for women.

Faculty, Staff, Students, or Alumni with a measurable impact in the past 5-10 years.
Catalyst for Change

 

Celebrates an emerging leader who is making remarkable contributions through student activism, research, or community service.
Current students or early-career professionals (under 5 years of experience).
