The Voice Clinic at the Marshall University Speech and Hearing Center utilizes a state-of-the-art voice lab which includes videostroboscopy and acoustic-aerodynamic computer software to assist in the identification of voice disorders. This same software assists with feedback during treatment and provides data regarding the effectiveness of therapy.

What to expect
For the first visit, patients can expect a 1-2 hour appointment. This appointment will consist heavily of an interview to gain more information about voice concerns. Voice tasks will also be completed with computer measures and videostroboscopy as needed. Education regarding pathology and recommendations following the evaluation will be provided.
