Dr. Anna Mummert wins service award from SMB

Dr. Anna Mummert won the 2021 Distinguished Service Award from the Society for Mathematical Biology. The award recognizes exceptional service contributions to the field of mathematical biology and its advancement. As treasurer of the society from 2018 to 2020, Dr. Mummert was responsible for the society’s finances and served the board of directors. The Society for Mathematical Biology is an international professional organization promoting research and education in the applications of mathematics to biology.
