JMELI participants will attend meetings held in the Memorial Student Center. JMELI participants are required to attend monthly workshops. There is an 80% attendance policy for all JMELI events.
Students will attend seminars that cover a broad range of leadership topics including diversity inclusion, problem-solving, business etiquette, communicative skills, and study skills.
JMELI participants will go on an annual overnight retreat in the fall that allows the students to bond, build relationships, and increase their leadership skills in diverse settings.
JMELI prides itself in giving back to the Huntington community and its students creating service projects that involve the Marshall community. Students are required to be in good academic standing to participate in JMELI.
