The Administrative and Faculty Technology Committees have approved the retirement of School Data Sync (SDS), which has been used to create a Microsoft class team for every course. Starting in the Spring 2025 semester, we will transition to a new and improved process using the tools within Blackboard Ultra.
What’s New? With Blackboard Ultra, creating class teams will be easier and more integrated than ever! This new tool will automatically associate your class team with your Blackboard course, allowing students to access everything seamlessly from within the LMS.
Benefits of the Blackboard Teams Tools:
- Automatic Roster Sync: Your class roster will sync directly with your Blackboard course enrollment.
- Integrated Teams Meetings: Schedule and list your Teams meetings right within Blackboard.
- Easy Access: Both instructors and students can access Teams from either Blackboard or the Teams app.
