Buses

TTA BusTri-State Transit Authority (TTA) is a transportation company serving Huntington and the surrounding areas. Check out the schedules at http://www.tta-wv.com. You can get real-time arrival and departure information as well as access to routes from anywhere by using the RouteShout app on your mobile device (iPhone app | Google Play).

Bus routes start at 6:45am and end at 11:45pm. Buses do not run on Sundays or any major holidays.

Driving in Huntington

Planning to drive in Huntington? You must get a West Virginia driver’s license if you are here for more than 30 days. All car owners and drivers must have their car registered with the Department of Motor Vehicles and have automobile insurance. For more information visit: http://www.transportation.wv.gov/DMV

All students receive 2 hours of bike time per day for free with their MU ID.

Many students like to ride bikes on campus. Remember to wear a helmet and lock your bike up on the bike racks provided around campus and at stores! Bike can found at various locations around campus including the Library, Student Center, and REC.

Huntington Bike Trails

The Paul Ambrose Trail for Health (PATH) is a bicycle and pedestrian trail system for the City of Huntington. The namesake, Dr. Paul Ambrose, was a promising young physician who was killed at the Pentagon during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Dr. Ambrose was dedicated to family health and preventative medicine to fight obesity. The trail system is a way for his efforts to continue.
