Student Health’s mission is to provide students with high-quality health care and education to strengthen student learning and promote lifelong success through health and wellness. Don’t forget to bring your MUID and insurance card with you!

Marshall University Student Health Services is located on the second floor of the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Student Health is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 10:45am and 1:00pm until 4:00pm. All students are required to make an appointment by calling 304-696-2269. Please refer to the Student Health website for transportation information.

 

The Marshall University Counseling Center promotes students’ psychological wellness and academic success by providing students a high quality, culturally competent counseling, mental health education training, and outreach in collaboration with the University community. The Counseling Center is located on the first floor of Prichard Hall and is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

The Marshall University Psychology Clinic has been established by the Department of Psychology to serve as a training facility for graduate students enrolled in the Clinical Psychology program at Marshall University and to provide high quality, low cost psychological services to individuals on the campus and from the local community. Services include: Psychotherapy, Psychological Assessment, Group Psychotherapy and Educational Workshops. 

After Hours Health Care

When Student Health is closed and you need immediate medical care, you should visit Urgent Care or an Emergency Room facility. Please remember that Emergency Room facilities should be used for issues that cannot wait until Student Health is open (such as broken bones, non-stop bleeding, difficulty breathing, etc). Be sure to take your insurance card and passport with you!
