Notify the event coordinator at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend your assigned shift. 2. Dress Code Dress appropriately for a family-friendly, multicultural environment. 3. Behavior Expectations Volunteers are ambassadors of Marshall University and the International Festival; therefore, professionalism and respectful communication are required at all times. Cultural sensitivity and inclusivity are essential. Volunteers must show respect for all cultures, traditions, and customs present at the festival. 4. Event Support Volunteers should be proactive in offering assistance and answering questions from guests. During performances, volunteers are expected to help manage crowd flow and ensure the safety of performers and attendees.
