Ms. Teffany Armel

Adjunct Faculty, Religious Studies

Biography

Teffany took her time pursuing academic knowledge, mostly Ancient Greek Philosophy and Asian Religion, both in and out of the classroom proper, and still is on hot pursuit of things that matter.  Continuously exploring interdisciplinary ways to understand the world and the meaning we make in /of /from /through it, some of her most enjoyable moments arise when students figure out how to do the same.

Teffany writes music, plays, poetry, short fiction and creative nonfiction.  She is the co-founder of Society of the Lark, a community writers group, and most recently her work has been featured in Lalitamba: A Journal of International Writings for Liberation.
