When asked if there was a particular course or memory that stands out when looking back over her time as an English major she said:
“The overall combination of English courses I took during my time at Marshall really shaped my philosophy in teaching literature. Each class allowed me to examine English in different ways and therefore my appreciation for all that it has to offer grew significantly throughout that process. The English department faculty and staff were primary influencers in helping me advance into my career with confidence, knowledge, and pride in being a Marshall University graduate.”

For Sabrina’s future plans she will be moving to Richmond, Virginia in hopes that she finds a job in teaching and to possibly pursue a master’s degree in some form of writing.
