Earlier today, the NRE 200 Intro to Agriculture class embarked on a memorable field trip to a local native plant nursery and tropical greenhouse—despite the rain! While the weather may have been dreary, our spirits were high as we explored the vibrant world of native plants and learned about their importance in our ecosystems.
We discovered how these resilient plants thrive in challenging conditions, just like us! The greenhouse was a burst of color, showcasing an incredible variety of tropical species. Our knowledgeable guide Joshua Marshall shared fascinating insights about sustainable practices and the vital role of biodiversity.
A special thank you to our amazing hosts at Terra Fate for making the experience unforgettable, even in the rain!
