Child Development Academy – Observation

Observation1

Academy teachers know that the early years are the most important time for learning and brain development. The Academy offers a safe and nurturing environment and provides the experiences needed to enhance children’s intellectual, social and physical development. This is done through play and creative activities that the children enjoy.
Children benefit from interaction with University students engaged in carefully designed observation and participation experiences required by their program of study. Students have an opportunity to interact with children and learn from them. The center is constructed with spacious observation rooms that provide for the student and parent observation of children without interfering in the children’s work and play. While students broaden their experiences with children, the children benefit from the additional undivided attention.

Observation2
Parents are welcome to observe at any time and are invited to join in center activities. Academy teachers meet with parents about their children’s progress and parents are encouraged to learn more about their child’s development.
